Itinerary
Get ready for an exciting day of walking as we start our trip early in the morning from Huaraz. We’ll walk through the pretty Callejon de Huaylas towards the nice city of Yungay. We’ll stop for a short thirty-minute break and then continue walking to Cebollapampa, which is really high up at 3900 meters. This is where our trek begins.
For about three hours, we’ll walk and see amazing views of big mountains like Chacraraju, Pisco, Yanapaccha, and the really big Huascaran Sur. When we’re at 4500 meters up, we’ll find the beautiful Laguna 69. It’s like a clean and shiny gem right in the middle of the Cordillera Blanca mountains. We’ll rest here for about an hour. We can eat a yummy meal and take lots of great pictures of the mountains around us.
