    You can relax and enjoy a packed lunch in the middle of the hills. Hike to the Sun Gate, where 4-day Inca Trail hikers enter Machu Picchu. From here you will have your first wonderful view of Machu Picchu. It’s definitely a dreamscape, so enjoy it before you leave and come back tomorrow.

    Your comfort is our top priority, so you can spend the night in one of our comfortable hotels in Aguas Calientes before starting your big day. After a day of hiking, enjoy a hearty dinner and a good night’s sleep. On the second day, it’s time to visit Machu Picchu, one of the seven wonders of the world.

    When you first enter this amazing place, feel your heart pounding as you look at the stone terraces and buildings built into the hillside. You will enjoy a 2-hour guided tour to learn about the importance of the citadel before disembarking for lunch and returning to Cusco. If you’re not staying long in Cusco, this once-in-a-lifetime trip is a must and extremely well done.
