Full description
Pick up from the meeting point that is located in front of the office or pick up from your accommodation if it is near the Plaza de Armas. Transfer to the port of Bellavista Nanay where the boat is taken to go to the confluence of the Nanay and Amazon rivers.
Visit to the butterfly farm where you can learn about the species of butterflies that inhabit the Amazon, once the visit is over we will go by boat to the Cucanas tribe, here you will learn about the customs and traditions of this tribe.
Finishing the visit we will go to the serpentarium, a place where you can appreciate protected species of the Peruvian Amazon, as well as animals rescued from traffickers. You will be able to appreciate the majestic Boa.
We will continue on our way to the insectarium, where we will learn more about the species of insects that inhabit the Peruvian Amazon, downriver we will meet the Boras tribe, here the chief of the tribe will welcome us and we will be able to dance with them. Once the visit to the Bora tribe is over, we will go to CEIBA Ecolodge, a place to relax and where we will have lunch.
Finally we will return to the city of Iquitos.
